ATTENTION: ALL ELVIS FANS
The Canadian Elvis Tribute Fan Club of Barrie, Ontario, Canada is
having its Third Annual Canadian Elvis Tribute and Convention to be
held on July 25-28, 1997 in Collingwood, Ontario. It
is located at the foot of beautiful Blue Mountain and on the lovely
shores of Georgian Bay.
The event which will have many highlights over a four day span will
include an Elvis look-a-like, sound-a-like contest for professionals and
amateurs. There
will be prizes for the best side burns, the best jump suits, the oldest
Elvis, the youngest Elvis, the biggest, the smallest and so on.
It is now the biggest convention in North America and
this year reps from Graceland are coming to preside over the weekend.
Many of Elvis' original band from the Aloha in Hawaii concert will be
there. Have you heard of the Graceliners? They're an all-female cast of
Elvis impersonators from Canada, and they will be there!
This event is being hosted by our fan club and being sponsored in
part by the Town of Collingwood.
We will also have many licensed Elvis vendors in attendance as well
as Elvis fans from all over the Globe and Canada. A mass wedding will
also take place
for anyone wishing to renew their vows. Many other great events and
wonderful Elvis entertainment by the best in the business.
