JOEL TOBECK – BILL (Short Biography) JOEL TOBECK is a well known New Zealand actor. His feature film credits include Niki Caro's Memory and Desire and Harry Sinclair's Topless Women Talk About Their Lives, which won him a New Zealand Film Award for Best Actor. JOEL TOBECK’S television credits include the cult series Xena: Warrior Princess, Hercules and Young Hercules, Lawless, Cleopatra 2525 and the popular New Zealand series Shortland Street. JOEL TOBECK – BILL (Long Biography) JOEL TOBECK gave his first professional performance at the age of five in Auckland’s Mercury Theatre production of The Duchess of Malfi. He gained acting experience with the Auckland Youth Theatre and the Auckland Performing Arts School where he trained as a dancer. JOEL is now a well known New Zealand actor, whose feature film credits include Niki Caro's Memory and Desire and Harry Sinclair's Topless Women Talk About Their Lives which won him a New Zealand Film Award for Best Actor. Prior to Perfect Strangers he completed filming on the UK family feature The Water Giant directed by John Henderson. He also features as a hero Orc in the forthcoming The Return of the King, the third film in Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
